Ideal Cast:
Grouper: Jesse Eisenberg
I would cast Jesse Eisenberg as Grouper because every character he plays is the nerd or the underdog. I can see in him that he has a dark side and can bring out a real teen reactions. He has the puppy dog face that makes him easy to watch, but he also has the gritty, frustrated teen. Grouper's character is a ignored, frustrated, hate life kid, but in love with Myst. I believe that his past sincere performances showed me that he would be perfect for Grouper
Myst: Dakota Fanning
I would cast Dakota Fanning as Myst because she just looks how Myst would look like. I believe that she could portray a one nighter, brutal teen. After seeing her in the Runaways, I saw another complete side of her. She is usually casted as the nice teen or intelligent daughter, but in the Runaways, she was a gritty, don't give a shit teen. It showed that she wants to break out of the stereotype of a nice girl and wants to be portrayed as an actress. I would only cast her because every performance she gives is so true and believable. She shows how the character would really act in situations and play a total different person. That raw, going for it attitude, is the attitude I need in an actress to play Myst.
